Our Mission
CMP represents the new face of Catholic media -- at the service of the Church, through the talents of others, by collaboration and creativity. CMP specializes in connecting talented, high-caliber Catholic media professionals with resources, peers, and distribution platforms; creating channels of distribution for new media content, programs and talent; profiling professional media talent and content; and by equipping the Church to evangelize in the new Millennium by providing new media resources and top quality professionals and content.
Our Beginning
Catholic Media Partners was founded October 1, 2004 on the Feast of St. Therese. Originally conceived as a professional resource for the founding and support of Catholic radio stations, Catholic Media Partners’ vision expanded as new technologies and opportunities continued to present themselves as effective and efficient ways to reach more souls for Christ.
Increasingly, CMP’s partners and founders, Michael Kreidler and Kate Sell, discovered more and more high-quality Catholic media professionals trying to earn a living by serving the Church with their unique gifts and talents. With little visibility, distribution or professional platform, few were succeeding, and the Church continued to lose the valuable resource of these professionals for evangelization, to bring about apostolic initiatives in diocese across the country, and for helping harness new mediums and ways of reaching souls for Christ.

Catholic Media Partners serves as a professional services organization for Catholic media professionals in all fields, including podcasting, videocasting, gaming, web design and development, Internet sites and portals, apostolic program providers, musicians, recording companies, communications professionals, radio stations and content developers of all kinds – and the list continues to grow each day.
Connecting People to People
Connecting people to people, building relationship upon relationship. That’s what CMP is all about. One can never know too many people or have too many contacts. Networking and service-sharing are the quintessential building blocks for any small business. Our goal is to connect our partners to other high-quality, authentically Catholic media professionals who can support them as fellow partners, collaborators, consultants, creative forces and referrals to further contacts – all of which can help build partners’ businesses to the ultimate level for which God designed them, in service to the Church in this modern age.

Catholic Awareness and Distribution
No matter how great your content or productions might be, unless you have venues for distribution, lives cannot be changed by your work and the Church cannot benefit from your talents. For too long we have come into contact with great people, producing high-quality professional media for the Church, yet have little or no platform for distribution and visibility in the Catholic world. Catholic Media Partners can provide our partners with distribution channels – through CatholicMediaPartners.com, and related web sties, and through direct-to-parish distribution and through our continually growing network of partners. Our goal is to provide our partners with as many distribution channels as possible so you can gain the visibility to truly serve the Church and change lives.
Parish Connections
It’s time to go back to the parish, back to where Christ intended Catholics to receive formation and Sacraments. Not only do we need to reach people through modern media channels outside of parish life, we must also reach people through modern media channels through parish life. Parishes and their staffs are the single most untapped distribution channel – a channel that leads to vast numbers of Catholics in need of catechises, in need of formation resources, in need of ways to get to know Christ and his Church. As we establish a growing nationwide network of parish reps, we will provide our partners with access to their target audience – people in the pews, DREs, pastors, catechists and other parish gatekeepers. We provide our partners with distribution directly to parishes across the country, allowing our partners to reach those who need their product and their message the most.

We support your professional development through our monthly newsletter, blog, relationship development, annual conferences, and online training. Partner Obligations
Fidelity to the Church
Catholic Media Partners shares an obligation with each partner to uphold, support and promote the authentic teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, in communion with the Holy Father Pope Benedict IV, and the teaching Magisterium of the Church.
Fidelity to the Church in the US
Catholic Media Partners shares an obligation with each partner to support the work of the Bishops of the United States, showing our fidelity through charity in our work, speech and content.
Service and Revenue Sharing
Catholic Media Partners shares a commitment with each partner to build the business and talents of other partners through an ongoing referral network. We want high quality Catholic media professionals to have access and to use the services of other high quality media professionals who share a similar vision for the Church, media and evangelization. Service and revenue sharing encourages partners to refer and share work with one another and help build other partners' businesses.
Each time one partner refers business or work to another partner, they support each other through revenue sharing – 3% of total gross profits for the duration of each project goes back to the referring partner. Fulfillment of this commitment is based on personal honesty, working directly with the partner with whom you have the revue sharing relationship.
Charity is our rule; the essential virtue
"And the greatest of these is love…" (I Cor. 13). Catholic Media Partners shares a commitment with each partner to work with a spirit of authentic charity towards one another, towards the Church, towards the Bishops, and towards all those of whom the media serves. We, as partners, will be known by our fruits. We will only conquer the world for Christ by the way he conquered us…through love.
